Ok, so I am totally geeked out about this HDTV thing.

I just bought a 61" Samsung TV. And I am blown away. I thought movies would look better, but they are totally different.

I just watched Star Wars this weekend on this new tv and it looked so different than I had ever seen it and of course like everyone else, I have seen it hundreds of times. I watched Xmen and Xmen 2 and it was a different experience.

Is anyone else out there watching HDTV yet? If so I want to know what you have seen that looks great. I finally have that same feeling as a movie theater, the screen, the sound, now I just have to figure out how they make that ultra unhealthy popcorn and I will be set!!

yeah, HDTV is great. you need to start stocking up on the SUPERBIT collection from Sony. There are no special features (aside from the fdew that are 2-disc) because the entire disc is taken up by using the best sound and video possible for red laser DVD players. Of course, don't forget, the blue laser DVD players are coming next year which will be true HD. Here are all the titles they have available (that I know of):

-Spider-Man
-Spider-Man 2
-Underworld
-The Fifth Element (I have this one...awesome!)
-Cliffhanger
-Lawrence of Arabia
-Leon-The Professional
-Black Hawk Down

I am into the Superbit DVD's definitely.. but I can't tell a difference with the picture from the other DVD's I watch. I am using a DVI cable for my DVD player, the new Samsung DVD player.. so all the pics look the same.. BUT the sound.. yes, DTS is the way to go hands down..

I love it all...
