I just finished watching this DVD and am still totally emotional. I think it is one of the best DVDs I have ever seen. This Showtime movie was based on a real incident and was incredible. But even more incredible was the commentary. It was done by the director, screenwriter, two of the actors and a real-life person who was portrayed in the film. There were so many layers to this commentary - talk about the film and the making of it, talk about the actual incident and the people involved, talk about the relationship between the actors and the real people they portrayed and most of all the dynamics and caring of the cast and crew for the actual people. The commentary actually made me cry!
Lee Pace gave a performance that was so magnificent it has to be seen to be believed. I think he won an Emmy for it (I know he won some award).
Run out and get this one.
