I think Michael Jackson puts disgrace to the term Freak. But he does put out some good music, I'll still keep listening.

Well out of everyone commenting here I am probably one of the few who has actually 'grown up' with Michael. He IS a talented individual and definitely troubled. Is he guilty? If he is proven to be with actual (not circumstancial) evidence-then he should be put under the jail. I remember the little dark skinned boy from Indiana with his big nose who was going to conquer the world. Even the 'bleached skinned BAD' Michael was always something. His past music will always be classic but can he be like Prince and ADAPT his music to the market with his own style if he is not going to jail....that is the real question. BUTTERFLIES...cute but not great....ROCK YOUR WORLD ...uh....a B-side song for 20 yrs ago....I havent been impressed with the last TWO albums at all. (BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR was the last one before INVINCIBLE and that was pure garbage.)

Honestly, I don't think he is gulity of what they said he did. I can't see him doing anything like that. He seems to be a very nice person.

This article says they found Jacko's prints on a Barely Legal mag that also had this kid’s prints on it. The arguments can go both ways.

Against MJ:
Barely Legal is very believable because we all know he likes them young, but he doesn't even like girls. He hasn't been intimate with any of his baby's mommas. Aside from being a current star, he's also a former child star, and we all know the majority of them turn out screwed up. He is lacking of an average childhood which is a primary building block of a stable adult. One could argue that Jackson viewed the magazines with the boy.

Defending MJ:
Jackson is a single middle-aged man; of course he's going to have some porn. The kid could have been snooping around and found the magazine. Michael is very wealthy and is often the target of greedy people that are after some of his money with false accusations.

I think the only way to truly resolve this is with polygraph tests, psychological examinations, and DNA tests.

I think he's been getting stranger by the year! He's kind of freaky to look at or listen to during an interview these days...but he's had some great songs in his career.

However, if he's done everything he's been accused of, then that's just horrible IMHO

I'm watching Michael Jackson's late entrance to court right now (they issued a bench warrant for his arrest). He's wearing pajama bottoms. To quote a CNN reporter, "the weirdness is so profound." It was going well for him, and he's just #*$^@) it up.

If he's really sick (well, we know he's sick), but if he was ill, hope he's okay now.

Well I am following the trial and the more it goes the more I am convinced that Michael is innocent. I mean unless they bring video and dna evidence that he is guilty they have NOTHING. The family is convincing less and less .....

His music is good, and whether he is guilty or not is yet to be decided...but personally I think he's some kind of strange!

yeah, this really wasn't one that I could prove or disprove, that's up to the courts so it doesn't count against my record.

When are people gonna learn to spell Michael? (What with this Micheal crap? No Michael I know spells his name like that.

(Sorry, just venting. I'm a Michael, and lately everyone is spelling my first name wrong. For the first 32 years of my life, I NEVER had to spell my first name for anyone.)

I have a cousin named "Michael," and as long as I can remember, I have had to correct my spelling of his name. I think people just don't think about it and invert the two letters.

Don't know what to think of the trial, but Michael needs professional help, and the mother of the boy needs to be jailed just for putting her son in that kind of position.

Michael Jackson was found innocent on all charges on the 13th of June. Personally I think the molestation charges & those of similar nature were either false accusations or just thrown together haphazardly. The charges of giving alcohol to a minor though, the jury should have found him guilty on.

People from the defense even said that wine/alcohol was laying around everywhere from the plane, to kids rooms, to the rides; they even stated it was in juice boxes sometimes.

If the alcohol charges were brought up seperate from this case, the DA might have actually won something. Instead he has spent 10 years of time & 10 years of tax dollars attempting to convict someone who he failed to do twice before. In the great american sport of baseball we quote ourselves as saying "three strikes and your out". What would the people of California have to say to the DA now?

opinions and thoughts are welcomed.

The DEFENSE states that there was alcohol in juice boxes? I think that was the prosecution. As for the alcohol everywhere, he's an adult. He can have vodka replace the water in his toilet if he wanted to.

If the alcohol charges were brought up seperate from this case, the DA might have actually won something.

I agree. I think the misdemeanors would have possibly stuck but it wouldn't have been a huge trial. They would have settled out of court for a fine and community service.

I thought he was only tried once before? Either way, it's not YOUR tax dollars. Federal tax money doesn't fund state to state cases. Carrot Top lives in California though, his tax dollars went to it.

He was almost brought up on charges once and settled out of court and the other time he was never brought up on charges, just threatened and then he settled out of court. So I think that would be 2 strikes and a foul tip.

I think it was the wrong family at the wrong time. If they had have been a more "Normal" family the Prosecution would probably have won.<O:p</O:p

Poor Michael (Micheal whichever suits him) can't get a break. I bet you money the 3rd time will be a charm. There's already 2 strikes against him.

OK I got to throw my 2.5 cents in...LOL

I personally never thought that Michael would get convicted based on the fact that THERE WAS NO HARD EVIDENCE-just the word of some people against Michael. So what if the man is WEIRD and needs therapy and religion-does that mean that he did it-in this case? So for example if Marilyn Manson is accused of assaulting a middle class guy--does that mean he had to have done it because he comes off as weird to a lot of America? Does a girl going to a guy's room at 4am automatically mean that a girl is loose? Does every baggy pant , tank top wearing Black guy guilty of being of being a 'gangsta' by having that look?

One thing to take into account--people havent stopped supporting Woody Allen and he WAS GUILTY of basically the same thing-convicted or not.

Is Michael guilty of making some bad decisions-HELL YES!!! Do I think that he could have done it--HELL YEAH. Did the prosecution prove it to me w/o a reasonable doubt-NOPE?

That pretty much all I got to say ('waiting for the fallout...LOL')
