Awed, humbled and shocked by the destruction caused by the tsunamis that hammered southern Asia earlier this week, Linkin Park have teamed up with the American Red Cross to establish Music for Relief, a charity dedicated to providing aid to victims of the tragedy.
All donations go directly to aid the victims and their families.
You can help those affected by this crisis by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund which provides supplies, medicine, and shelter to those in need. Donate through the American Red Cross' Web site, or by phoning 1-800-HELP-NOW. When you call, be sure to press option #2 and tell the representative that you called because of Music for Relief.

For more information you can check out the website http://www.musicforrelief.org/ .

We're helping MusicForRelief.org to raise some money by helping to promote the new version of the Queen/David Bowie classic "Under Pressure," recorded by The Used and My Chemical Romance. The track will be available for purchase through iTunes on 4/12, and all proceeds will go to the charity. Attached are two banners you can post on your site to help this cause. On 4/12, we'll send you all a link to the track on iTunes.

You can get The Used and My Chemical Romance's studio version of the David Bowie/Queen classic ballad 'Under Pressure' at iTunes starting right now. You may have seen the band's play this live on Taste of Chaos this winter or maybe not. Either way, this version will give you goosebumps. The song was recorded to benefit the victims of the devastating tsunami in Asia last December and all of the Artists proceeds from this brand-new studio version will go directly to the Tsunami Relief Fund. Click here - http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=56765423 - to get it now! It will be available on other legal download sites as well. We will keep you posted.

If you decide to be a weasel and steal the song, please at least go over to http://www.musicforrelief.org and donate what you can afford.

NITRO RECORDS & SJC CUSTOM DRUMS TO RAISE MONEY FOR TSUNAMI RELIEF

Nitro Records and SJC Custom Drums (owned by Mike Ciprari, drummer for the band No Trigger, and his brother Scott Ciprari) are auctioning off an SJC custom-made snare drum signed by Dexter Holland (The Offspring), Rufio, The Aquabats, The Start and A Wilhelm Scream in order to raise money for the Tsunami Relief Fund. This exclusive drum will be auctioned off on EBAY beginning Monday, April 25th. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF's South Asia Tsunami Relief Efforts in the winner's name.

Scott Ciprari says, "This drum is more than an object to be auctioned off based on its looks. It is a drum that was made with deep meaning, a drum that carries a message. My brother and I don't have tons of money to send to the help the victims of the tsunami, but we do possess skills that can bring relief to the victims, and a sense of realization to society. So even if you don't have tons of money to send, understand that there are hundreds of things that you and anyone else can do to help."
