Best Multiplayer games

I remember when Goldeneye came out, me and my friends played it for hours and hours on end; it was seriously a blast. there are a few more good multiplayer games out now but I don't know if anything will ever beat the fun I had with Goldeneye.. it was just brilliant.

personally my 2 favorites for the pc are Americas Army and BattleField Vietnam

and for the counsel gotta be HALO for the xbox that pwns

for a fast paced FPS i like the Quake series and the Unreal series. the new UT2k4 is amazing.
