I have got to say its a tie between Eyes Wide Shut and Moulin Rouge.

Those are the two most God-awful wastes of film I have ever seen. I had never walked out on a movie until I had to save myself from Eyes Wide Shut.

Another vote for Freddy Got Fingered. That, or Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.

Incrediculous

Adaptation, Gerry, and Freddy Got Fingered

OH YOU DID NOT!

Adaptation is an incredible movie. If you're going to knock a Kaufman flick, make it Human Nature. That movie was weak.

You're right, Freddy Got Fingered sucked.

Ok, now for mine.

Battlefield Earth, Head of State, and every Lord of the Rings movie they've made or ever plan to make.

I definetly agree with those!!! They were the two worst movies ever!! Eyes Wide Shut is barely a step down from an X rated movie, and I felt like I should have taken drugs before watching Moulin Rouge...I think that is the only way I MIGHT have enjoyed it.

No, but I did see Harland Williams on weed.

I was on the front row. He called me tiny tim throughout the entire show, always asking me my perspective on shit.

WHAT DO YOU THINK TINY TIM?

Harland is insane.

I had to post this because it was on t.v. and every time I think of this movie I get pissed off and start on my soap box about how awful this movie was and ruined the great story of the books.

QUEEN OF THE DAMNED

I am still trying not to vomit.

Pitch Black was so horrible, I almost walked out, but stayed, in hopes it would get better, but it didn't.
Possession I did walk out of. It sucked so bad. I hate Gwenyth Paltrow.
Sylvia also sucked.
Gods and Generals - took multiple naps during that movie. There was a fifteen minute intermission, and I could have left then, but my friends wanted to stay to see who won, and according to the movie, it looked like the South.
Games That People Play - New York - That movie was just stupid. It was one step down from prostitution. And they kept playing this annoying song through the whole movie.

I liked Possession though I agree it was really slow but still liked it :p

HMMMM...yall got some bad ones....some of mine are 1)COLD CREEK MANOR-the worst movie of 03--beating even Gigli 2)all Martin Lawrence by himself movies (except his first concert film) 3) PLUTO NASH 4) THE CARS THAT ATE PEOPLE (this the first bad movie I ever saw as a child--LOL) 5)GIGLI--it was just overhyped and underscripted..but not the worst movie I have seen 6)SOLARIS w/George Clooney--first movie I have seen MULTIPLE people fall asleep.... I am sure I can think of some more if I put my mind to it......

Oh yeah I agree with QUEENB OF THE DAMNED and JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS as being bad too

What about the Bill & Ted movie, that was horrific.
But I gotta say to me the worst movie of all time has to be Memento I'm sorry but that thing was the most stupid thing I have ever seen in my life.
Let's not forget Sphere,Deep Blue Sea, Anaconda.

Oh, I remember I saw this movie called "Evil Alien Conquerors." It totally sucked ass. I only saw it because it had Deidrich Baker from the Drew Carey Show and Napoleon Dynamite, and Chris Parnell from SNL in it. It was so B, it was like Beta. Yeah, so B it went all the way back to the Greek alphabet. It's one of those movies that's so bad, that you would suggest it to someone you don't like, just so they'll have to sit through the torture or just waste 90 minutes of their life. To seal the movie's horridness, it had Tori Spelling in it, with a unibrow!

Here are mine...

Eyes Wide Shut
Children of the Revolution
Solaris
Vanilla Sky

I agree with you pandora on the Queen of the Damned.. it could have been so much better and it ruined the book.. if they are going to make a movie from the book stick to the book and dont move things around.... with that being said...

Phantoms (The book was 100 times better)
Hannibal (they moved key parts of the movie from where they were in the book.)

If I think of more I will post them but this should do for now...

The thing is...most of the time the book is better than the movie-simply because movies are basically two hours and have to condense down the book.
The only time that movies tend to be better is if the book is actually a 'short story' or just short (example is STAND BY ME). Many of our 'worse movie' choices which are adaptations of books/stories are ones which the directors/producers take too many liberties or cut too much-or just have wrongly cast people.

ORGAZMO! (Of course I secretly love it - and watch it about once a year - but don't tell anyone because it really is a horrible movie.)

I love how they made up the band DVDA just for the movie. I had to rent it to watch it with my Mormon friend, because everyone had always mentioned it to her. They asked her if she told her boyfriends, "Jesus and I love you."? She doesn't.

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (it is not meant to be good, but it is not even a good campy movie)

Darkness (how many other thriller/horror flicks did they rip off)

I couldn't make it through it. I don't know what it was about it. Have you seen Moby's Alien Sex Party?

xmanadan
04-29-2005, 12:01 AM
I haven't seen Moby's movie, but I was tempted to buy it just to get him to sign it and see the reaction of shame on his face, but I didn't. I hear there are a lot of dildos in it.
