Saw this and thought it was a cool new Gadget...

LED color changing light bulb fits into a standard light bulb socket. Inside the light are four primary colored LED lights which can be combined to make any one of 16 different colors, all of which you can control via a remote control. The light uses only 3 watts of electricity and can do such fancy tricks as flash, strobe, fade, smooth and dimming. That’s pretty neat that you can add a dimming bulb without having to install a dimmer switch in your wall because if you’re anything like me- doing handywork involving electricity is not a good idea. Costs around $21.

LLL, yeah, me, too. I have already bought the LED bulbs to replace my incandescent bulbs but had not seen this cool one. My only question is where do I keep all the blipping remote controls for every appliance and gadget?!

I guess that would be kind of cool as a novelty item but I'd like just a plain old white light that does a good job of being energy efficiant. In a few years after these things become the norm someone will find a reason why they are still bad for the enviornment.
