Mickey Waller and Harry Bosch work together to solve the killing of an attorney and the murder of a movie producer's wife and her lover. The story brings in aspects of the past and the connection between Mickey and Harry. The jury selection process and the "lies" told by everyone in the courtroom are disturbing.
