Does any one have any special plans for the friends series finale next week? Here in Chicago a local radio station creating the Central Perk and putting in big screen plasma TVs for contest winners to watch the show. They are also choosing 6 people with the same jobs as the "Friends" characters to represent the cast (they even found a Chandler type with a job that no one knows what they do..).
What are your plans?

So, I guess no one has anything planned? Shameful.

I'd like to do something for it, I'm a huge Friends fan but I'll probably just end up watching it at home. I'm actually watching Friends right now! (We have DVD players at our desks for "reviews"). I have that Friends party pack thing that they were selling at Target for a minute but it would be kinda lame to actually do that stuff (it came with coasters, Central Perk Coffee, soundtrack CD, party tray and an exclusive DVD with all the party episodes). It's kind of cool for the Friends fanatic, but otherwise not really worth the $30.

In case you miss the final FRIENDS, you don't have to wait months or years for the rerun or the season 10 DVD set. Warner Brothers will be releasing the season finale on DVD this coming Tuesday, just 5 days after the episode airs. This will be the only place that you can actually get the final episode as it airs (including the clip show) which will not be put onto the Season 10 DVD. Also on the DVD will be the pilot episode and a few extras. And,a s is customary with the Friends DVDs, The final episode will also feature additional scenes not seen on TV. This DVD is limited edition (actual limited edition, not just stating it like most DVDs) so grab it next week.
And remember, the FRIENDS FINAL EPISODE airs tomorrow at 8:59 PM ET on NBC. Tune in at 8:00 for the clip show.

What did everyone think of the final episode? It was a little short on laughs but I think they overall did a good job with the show itself. I wasn't impressed with the clip episode, Seinfeld did much better with that. Two problems:
1. What's up with Ross only caring that Rachel was going to Paris but never mentioned or showed worry that Emma was going as well?
2. How many friggin producers were there on this episode? i swear it just kept going. There were like 14 executive producer, 10 co-executive producers, some supervising producers, regular producers. damn.
Remember people, if you have seen it and you are going to write spoilers, warn people that haven't seen it and are going to buy it on DVD next Tuesday or download it (which I don't condone ;)

ross not worrying about emma leaving crossed my mind, but come on, there were so much stuff to explain that they would've need a two hour episode (they should've) but the finale was great anyway.
SPOILERS:
- gunther's part was awesome. I was looking for him when rachel got up and I was hoping he'd get to say something and it was great :D
- also, when rachel left for the plane, I shocked that they were going to let her go. cool thing to trick us. it was obvious that were going to end up together but with that scene they got me thinking otherwise :D
AMAZING FINALE

I agree...what was up with them not mentioning Emma? They said one thing about her being with the grandmother, but Ross never said anything about his child leaving. Also, I thought there were some strange parts with the twins too. I thought it was weird that they brought them home the first day and then left them so much. I know they had a lot to pack into the finale, but I wish they would have made it longer. I still liked it and think they did a good job!
