Who We Are

Georgia Community Support and Solutions (GCSS) consistently delivers innovative, well managed and high quality services to people and their families with needs related to disabilities, mental health and/or aging.
We strive for continuous improvement in our organizational capability, strategic alliances with all our stakeholders, close partnerships with associated government agencies, and prudent stewardship of our assets, resources and donor contributions.

The Excitement Committee (EC) is an all volunteer group who dedicate their time and energy into creating special events and help for those consumers who are most in need.

Right now we are holding a food drive to help those consumers who would not have a Thanksgiving dinner without us. The consumers in our day programs will use their talents to decorate festive boxes and then we (the EC) will fill those boxes with the food you donated and deliver them to the families a couple days before Thanksgiving.

During the holidays we have an adopt-a-consumer "Angel Tree" decorated with names of our most in need consumers. These can be children or adults. We ask that if you can, consider adopting one of our consumers and make their holiday filled with Excitement!

if you have any questions you can PM me and I will be more than happy to answer them.

Thanks!!

Well, I talked about it a couple months ago and as of today the Angel Tree is up! Please consider helping out one of our in-need people for the Holiday. The people who go on this Angel Tree are those who either have no family or come from very poor families. We provide them with a holiday party which includes a visit from Santa (they absolutely LOVE seeing Santa!!), lunch, music, and gifts given to them by Santa himself! If you're interested in "adopting" one of our individuals please PM me. All gifts should be turned in unwrapped by 12/18. If you are in the Atlanta area I can meet you somewhere to pick up your gift. :) Thanks so much for reading, and please refer to my first post if you'd like to know more about who we are :)
