26% (Yankee). You are a Yankee Doodle Dandy.

Chicago born and raised, but living in the South. Well, as much as Metro Atlanta can be considered the south. :D

I'm a rebel. Can't help it lived in Georgia my whole life and my Dad is very Southern. Here is what it said: 87% (Dixie). Do you still use Confederate money?

This was interesting, I already knew what the answer would be. But my result---84% (Dixie). Do you still use Confederate money?

I can't help it, I was born into it.

53% (Dixie). Right on the Mason-Dixon Line

I'm going to hop that line and flee to the north, I don't favor the south...

Has anyone gotten higher than 87% Dixie? Or am I the biggest Southern?

I am:

65% (Dixie). Just under the Mason-Dixon Line :p ;)

Playing around with the test I found that #6 about how you pronounce cot and caught really bumped up my Dixie percentage. If I could have honestly answered "no" versus caught=kawt I would have been 58% Right on the Mason-Dixon Line.

Fun quiz, thanks for the link.

"49% (Yankee). Barely in the Yankee category."

Curious, since I was born and raised in Georgia. Wonder why it didn't say 51% Dixie. Now I'm not sure what to put in the poll.

57% (Dixie). Right on the Mason-Dixon Line

Though if we are getting into where we were born then well I'm neither. I was born and lived in West Virginia for the first 13 years of my life. Considering it wasn't even a state at that time and when they did become one they didn't pick a side, I'm a straggler, or if you want to use the technical term, hillbilly.

It measures other regional areas too, so just cause you got 49% Yankee doesn't mean the the remaining 51% was all Dixie. Some of the answers I gave tended to be common across the US so it didn't score as Dixie or Yankee.

Looks like you're stuck with Yankee! :p ;)

Born & raised in S. Florida, I was surprised to find out that I scored: 62% (Dixie). Just under the Mason-Dixon Line.
I guess I've been away too long, in NC then Atlanta.

West Virginia became a state in 1863. How old are you?
