So this movie totally rocked in my opinion. If you saw Shaolin Soccer, this is the same group of people. It was a good movie, but this Kung Fu Hustle was exactly what people needed and I doubt it was as big as it could have been.

I think this Tuesday when it hits DVD, people will get a nice shock and there will be some talk. The action was great, the verbage funny, and it has a nice storyline of someone finding themselves and living up to their full potential.

Go buy it, you will not be disappointed.

We debated on moving this; but that thread is talk about movies and this thread is DVD's and he mentioned the DVD release.

So I know it was in movies, but I did look through the whole DVD thing before I posted and didn't see it here for the release...


ANYWAYS, I just got back from Best Buy, 14.99 Circuit City 14.99 CompUSA - 14.99 or if you live close to Fry's today only it is 13.99..

So I have to hurry up to sit down to watch it...

Will let you know tonight how great it is again!

this was one of the few films i purchased without having seen it first.
simply because having seen many other works by Stephen Chow.. i knew it was going to be good but i never expected it to be as amazingly BRILLIANT as it was. damn..that Kung-Fu Hustle is the best thing i have seen all year.
..save for Sin City of course.

If any of you rent or buy Layercake on DVD (which is awesome as well by the way!) then you will get an awesome trailer for Kung Fu Hustle that I had never seen... worth it alone!
