X-Men 3? Who would you cast?

So who will you cast for Beast, Storm, and Gambit?

I don't know who I would cast but I am so glad to see they are talking about Gambit. He is by far my favorite character. You know Hugh Jackman isn't sure he is going to be invited back to be Wolverine. They might cast someone else. :mad:

There could be NO OTHER Wolverine! oh my god the blasphemy! And they BETTER put Gambit in dammit just the site of his name (Remy mmmmm Remy) on the screen when Mystique was it? (i can't remember) was looking on the datat base was sheer torture! But as far as casting thats a toughie all i know is he better live up to my fantasies!! (Is it weird to be in love with a cartoon???) Don't answer that!

they did an excellent job casting Nightcrawler for X2 so Gambit is going to be great too :)

i really hope they don't bring Gambit into the movies. i never liked him and could never understand his popularity. but i know i'm in the minority on that issue, so i just hope they either tweak the character or get someone really talented to portray him.

i'm pretty sure you'll see Jackman back as Wolverine ... he's so ingrained as the character at this point that there would be some major backlash from fans if they recast the role (plus Jackman seems like a smart guy and he knows that Wolverine is what put him on the A-list).

personally, i'd much rather see them expand Colossus' role and add the Beast or do the full blown Dark Phoenix saga, not the partial inclusion that's being mentioned.

oh, and the Days of Future Past would be great as well ... bring on the Sentinels already!

I wonder what they'll do with Phoenix?

Isn't that plot too complicated to successfully do in a single feature film?

It's not as though you can go, "Oh... Jean Gray turned into Phoenix - so let us all carry on with our business and fight the Mutant Liberation Front."

I love Gambit but I will be the first to admit his character will be extremely easy to do horribly wrong. I love what they have done with the movies so far; but if they don't figure something out they are going to cram too much into a movie and not give the characters justice. I can't picture anyone else playing Wolverine besides Hugh Jackman, he has the character and the look down. I also hope that they bring Nightcrawler back Alan Cumming is fantastic.

At this point it will really be hard to predict what XMEN will be in X3--but one who has said she wont be back is Halle Berry (Storm)---freein up how much ...$20 million.


I have never liked Halle as Storm mainly because she doesnt have the physique nor the character to be a live action version of Storm --a character I have followed since her debut in 1974 in the comics. To me, she was put in the role because she was the highest profile black actress which the producers thought that was all that was needed. Well just like Hugh Jackman made Wolverine believable--she has not...nor has the scripts in either XMEN or X2 have made her character better. She was quoted in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY as sayin 'IF X2 WAS REWRITTEN TO GIVE ME MORE LINES-THEN I MUST NOT HAVE HAD ANY LINES AT ALL'

OK so if there is no Storm and possibly no Phoenix-where should X3 go?


Keep it simple...SENTINELS....HELLFIRE CLUB....that all.....
