Check out their review of Kill Bill Volume 1. We all know the DVD isn't going to be much of anything, but they gave the movie 4 out of 10. Quite possibly one of the finest films, so good it gave me the shivvers, and they give it a 4.

i don't like them much either. i enjoyed this movie immensely. and i am coompletely expecting the extras to suck because i heard tarantino is planning a 2 disc for volume 2.

hellboy might be a fanboy movie only. i was lost. really really fucking lost. very confusing flick, with a lot of mumbo jumbo that seemed interesting, but came off as silly and confusing in the film. I do want to read the comic though. Pearlman kicked ass, but hellboy's sly humor started to dry out a bit. The movie strangly went from being very serious, to silly and then to soap oprahish. I was honestly bored by it, though that villian in the gas mask was great. Also, the sets, the props, everything in the movie reeked of being too animated. It reminded me of a teenage mutant ninja turtle film. plus the special effects were very lame in many scenes. this film was NOT made in the same time period as when the LOTR films were made. In terms of fight scenes, special effects, costumes, props, the director (wont try and spell his name) did far better handling blade 2, one of my favorite action films of all time.

also saw WALKING TALL which i didnt care to see but snuck in with 2 friends who did. Wow. what an enjoyable film. really short, light, breezy fun. the rock is fantastic. Probably the best action star working today. the dude just oozes charisma. and i liked Knoxville in it too. Real fun popcorn entertainment, with some great shot gun shoot outs. i was actually suprised how violent the thing was.

this movie rocked. i understand maybe giving the extras a 4 if they suck, but the whole freakin movie? that's lame.

Some people just don't grasp the concept of "grindhouse movie", especially when Kill Bill was probably the only major U.S. made "grindhouse movie" that was released in recent memory. It was supposed to be comically violent, not realistically violent.

Kill Bill Vol 2 is getting SMASHED by the critics.

Either you love Terantino's films... or you are a stuffy fatman with an obsession for pancakes.

there, i said it.

Mr. Knowles, would you? probably not, i assume he loves tarantino. it just sounded like a perfect description of the AICN crooner.

Kill Bill was one of the Top 5 movies last year (and my #2)

1- RotK
2- Kill Bill
3- Pirates of the Caribbean
4- Finding Nemo
5- ?

I have a top 20 list at home but I cant remember it now :( those 4 are in anyway.
