Pandora,

I would like to see Dinosaurs on DVD too! Mostly because I was told that my name was used in one episode as one of Robbie's friends that got eaten by something. I never got to see the episode, but I don't have a usual last name, so I still wonder to this day if it was true and if so how they got my name. The show was good for the whole family. Disney seems to get everything wrapped up in legal, so I wonder if they will ever put it out.

Guilty pleasure here...JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS (especially now to rid folks of the memory of the BAD movie....LOL)

I was eating my lunch today and for some reason the show Small Wonder popped into my head. Then I came on the board to add it to my list and saw Peter already had it on his. That's scary, I didn't think anyone else remembered that show! For those that don't remember, it ran from 85 until 89. Here's the summary from imdb.com "Father Ted Lawson creates robot, Vickie. The family, Ted, Joan, and Jamie, keep the information that Vickie is a robot secret, and pretend that she is their daughter. Harriet, their nosy and annoying neighbor, has a crush on Jamie and plans to marry him. Her dad, Brandon Brendall, is Ted's boss because Brandon stole Ted's ideas and said he invented them. Tiffany Brisset stars as Vickie "The Robot" Lawson."

haha, yeah, I loved that show (at least when I wass home sick from school, but anything is better than school). Wasn't Harriet the same lady that played the principal's secretary in Ferris Bueller (the movie not the show)?

You all really said all the one's that I was thinking , I have some animated that should make it on dvd thought , how about Silver Hawks and The Thundercats, those were pretty good back then.
And how about The Joe Schmo Show that show definitely had to make it on DVD.

Yeah I hadnt remembered SMALL WONDER until he mentioned it--but I did watch it. It was one of the first big 'new' synidcated shows of the '80's.

Kids Incorporated. I just saw an article about it in TV Guide. I used to like that show when I was like 8. "Looks like we've made it. We're kids in-cor-po-rated!"

i used to watch that show like a bastard. i'd love to see Dinosaurs too. I can't believe, looking back, that that show was actually aired in primetime. Imagine if they tried to do that now?

Well, now that Little House on the Prairie is on DVD, I'm all set. But I'd love to see these TV shows released on DVD too:

Beauty and the Beast (with Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman)
Homefront
The Andy Griffith Show (first complete season being released in November, yeah!)
Father Knows Best
Marco Polo (The miniseries from the early '80s. Does anybody remember it?)

Dinosaurs? Is that the one where the baby whacked the Daddy on the head with the frying pan while saying "not the Mama, not the Mama"? Also, there was another episode where the Daddy wanted to through his mother-in-law into the tar pit. If I'm remembering the right show, that was funny.

Does anyone remember that show Herman's Head? Where the guy has 4 people living in his head, so anytime he as to make a decision about something, they fight about it. He had an angel woman, animal frat boy, professor-like genius, and a nerdy wimp. I think I was the only person that liked that show.

Also, the State on MTV was the funniest show that I've ever seen ever. I mean, $240 worth of pudding! "I wanna dip my balls in it!"

How about Parker Lewis Can't Lose? I can barely remember seeing it, but I remember I liked it. I think. It was like they were trying to make a Ferris Bueller for TV or something.

And Eerie, Indiana. I remember it was funny, yet kinda creepy at the same time. Does anyone remember this stuff?

They are bound to put Perfect Strangers on DVD soon. I really liked Ned and Stacey, Night Court, and the John Laroquette Show, too. I always seem to like the shows that no one else does, so they get canceled, and no one remembers, so sometimes I think I may have imagined them.

Wonder woman Season 1 is out on DVD (I saw someone wanted that).

Xmanadan, I know what you mean about show you love and no one remembering them. I loved Covington Cross and I think it only aired 3-4 episodes. I have not met anyone to this day that knows what show I'm talking about.

Also does anybody know if Aeon Flux is on DVD?

I'm a huge fan of this and I know there's already some dvds for sale but I think they are like just episodes or clips not the full seasons.

For those Aeon Flux fans here's a link to reviews of every episode made.

As far as Aeon Flux, I got the episodes on VHS but not DVD...I think they will probably look at putting those on DVD once the movie comes out next year with Charlize Theron.

I looked through all the lists and as far as I saw, there was no mention of these 2 great 80's shows that should be getting put on dvd cause well there already is Dukes of Hazard, Knight Rider, and the A-Team, so here are just 2 that I would love to see on dvd.

Hardcastle and MacCormick
Airwolf ( and how can you not want this one just so you can hear that theme song)

The Ninja

HMMMMMM....well I started this thread and I have seen many shows posted...which is good and shows that there are fans for every show.
I want to add that I want to see the following as well......

MELROSE PLACE (the first dvd would have to have both seasons 1 and 2...LOL)

KNOTS LANDING (the best 'middle class' night time soap ever....LOL)

BENSON

COSMIC SLOP

JUSTICE LEAGUE/JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED and XMEN/XMEN EVOLUTION--as DVD sets (Yes I know they have individual episodes out but sets are really what are needed...)

MACGUYER

LOGAN'S RUN (yes it was a bad campy show but like LAND OF THE LOST I got fond memories...)

THE JACKSON 5 cartoon AND the Jacksons Variety show (when MICHAEL and JANET were normal.....)

Thanks. I think I saw a bundle of all episodes for 150 dollars somewhere in the last couple of weeks. But it looked pretty "self-recorded".

yeah, you can find those bootlegs all over eBay and stuff but the quality is either going to be directly off of TV or off of the "master tapes" which means that the color is uncorrected, the picture is not mastered and it will have running numbers on the top. It's worth it if they are cheap and the release is nowhere in site.

I'm a huge snob. I wont buy anything unless its legit because I want the correct sound and picture and bonuses if there are any.

As far as dvds go I also cant buy bootleg. The one time I did was at this festival and the ones I got either 1) didnt play 2) were fuzzy or 3) played fine except for the last 30 minutes. In addition if it is a show that I like I really want the SHOW to get credit for me buying the dvd as well.

Just a hint: There are codes you can find on-line to turn your DVD player into an all region player or give it the ability to play another countries DVD's. Some newer DVD's can't but my niece bought a copy of Buffy season 2 from Australia and I was able to find her a code so she could watch it. Some countries will have DVD's before us. For example Australia and the U.K. were the first to have single editions of Robin Hood Men In Tights on DVD and I waited an extra two years for it to come to America. Its worth a shot anyway. Most codes can be found through a simple search engine.

Yeah, I made my DVD-recorder also region-free with one of those hacker-websites. I brought all my German DVDs over.
You can switch almost every DVD-Player after typing a secret combination on the remote. It's ridiculous. Some companies on the web are selling code-free DVD-players. They do exactly the same thing and charge 100 USD more for the player.

I Have Got The Eight Season Of Friends On Dvd

there are 10 seasons of the show and all are out on DVD.

There is also a really cool wooden case with pleixglass door that is available:

]http://ec3.images-amazon.com/images/P/B000AM4PBS.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_V54461633_.jpg (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000AM4PBS/shakefire05-20/102-5814312-7331356?dev-t=mason-wrapper&camp=2025&link_code=xm2)
Click the pic for more info on buying

You can buy it as the "One with all Ten Season" retailing for $299.98. The Season 10 DVD Set had a certificate in it where you can buy just the box for $10 plus S&H but they didn't expect the feedback on them and oversold (mine was delayed a few weeks) so it is probably no longer available. But, if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend, it looks great on the shelf.

I'd like to see more of The Office. Its such a great show and Steve Carrell is amazingly funny.

Season 2 (4-disc set) comes out September 12 in the U.S. and Canada, FYI:

There is a show called First Wave that is pretty good. More Sci-Fi. Its about an alien attack ala X-Files and one guy is doing what he can to stop them. It is a show backed by Franci Ford Coppola that ran 3 seasons but has yet to be released.

There is also a show called 7 Days which also ran for 3 seasons (not sure if it was cancelled). The show transpires around a group of astronauts who can tavel back in time a total of 7 Days to correct a situtation that has occured. Stars Anthont LaPaglia's younger brother Johnathon LaPaglia and last I saw of it they aired an episode once a day on SpikeTV.
