Will there be screeners for this one, looks like it will be action packed, although dark...

Thanks, blupun. Pitch Black is one of the best sci-fi flicks in the 90's. Worth the buy of the dvd, especially when there is a ticket comes with it for Riddick.

I loved Pitch Black, you can tell it was low budget; but I still thought it was great. I can't wait to see Chronicles of Riddick. By the way I saw on MTV that they are going to play the first ten minutes this Sunday, I believe after Wild Boys. If anyone wants to check it out.

I watched the first 10 minutes on MTV. It looks cool; but I didn't like Vin Diesel narrarating. They should have stuck with Judi Dench narrarating the whole time. The effects look decent, maybe not most expensive movie worth, but decent. 10 minutes wasn't really enough to get a feel for how the movie will be though. But I think I will still give it a shot.

Yeah, I saw the first 10 minutes too. Thanks for the info, Pandora. I'd have never know about this if you didn't mention it. Anyway, I think different characters narrate the story if the narration involves that particular character. I am getting worried because based on the first 10 minutes, looks like it's going to be special effects laden. I'd rather see a low budget indie sci-fi than a 100 million extravaganza with crappy plot line. Everytime a small film got successful, they would come out with a louder, heavier, more costly junk. Bigger is not necessarily better, Hollywood! But I'll see it anyway, like you said, can't exactly judge a film based on the first 10 minutes.

based on the trailer it definitely will be 100 million special effects etc ... but i dont think itll be a crappy plot line... at least i hope not - if the guys that created the character for pitch black have anything to do with it, it should be good
