Weeds Season 1

The weekend I picked this up (it just came out) and it really is a treat.

For those who dont have SHOWTIME, this is a comedy/drama about a 'soccer mom ' /widow who turns to selling pot to make ends meet. It is scary because this story could actually happen. The show is hilarious-but doenst glorify being a drug dealer. It does make you think 'This could be me in another life not too far away'. I sat there and watch all ten episodes and can't wait for season 2 (which is coming soon--sorry about that) to come to dvd.

I did not know season 2 had already stated and will get caught up this weekend.

This really is a great show. The first two episodes I saw were the last two of the season so I had to buy it on dvd to see what I missed. However I thought season 2 was supposed to start in August. Showtime's website doesn't have any new episodes listed either.

I corrected my original post and of course I have to admit when I am wrong. The new season has NOT started yet for this show.
