We would love to see a screening for this one in Atlanta. I agree with the rest of the posts. How can we let the marketing company know that we want you to bring this to Atlanta?

i saw the atlanta screening of the clearing on thurs night at phipps thanks to wsb.... i have gotta say i was disappointed - it just seemed to not have much of a point. it had a beginning and an end, but where was the middle. and at only an hour and a half, it felt waaaay too long. i almost fell asleep. yes - well acted .... but they couldve done SOOOO much more with the story to make it a little more compelling

Someone offered a pass for The Clearing for the Atlanta area at the Main Forum way back when... Since it conflicted with Shakefire's Before Sunset Atlanta screening, no one took the offer. Thus, there was a screening for this film in Atlanta.

Well I got my pass for this movie yesterday--THANKS!!!
Yeah I read a review of this movie which sd it was only an hour and a half--I rather have a short movie leaving me wanting a little more than a long boring one which will have me wanting to send the producers a pair of scissors to learn editing skills. Hopefully it will be ok.

I just saw this tonite and it was short and slow (LOL). Other than the big name stars, nothing separated this from the TV MOVIE OF THE WEEK--but those stars (particularly Helen Mirrane) gave a very nice performance. Robert Redford does look OLD these days. The theater where this was shown was packed mainly with 30 and over people (probably over 60 were actually over 50) who were mainly there for Robert Redford. It is a compliment to him.
