Movie Idea - humor & suspense

What would be a great thing is to have a clean movie with twists and turns - there really aren't too many out there like this with a lot of Comdey! I think the world needs to laugh and not at some of the things I have seen in movies recently! Host to good clean humor (and not at the Kid's Level humor) - but seems they think everything at Adult level or teen level HAS to be swearing and SEX!!

Hey let's get a little of the good 'ole clean humor & suspense back in our lives.

With the success of films like American Pieand the likes studios begin to mimic them until some new flavor of the month comes in and shows it can turn a profit. I think what you are asking for is not so far down the line. I think one of the worst tremors of the frat films that have avalanched all else is that they have produced actors and actresses that otherwise would not have had a snowballs chance in hell. Anyone remember Jason Biggs the original American Pie boy. The guy couldn't act his way out of a papersack and I think he knew it considering his choice of roles which, if truth be told, were the same roles over and over again. Lets not even mention Sean William Scott who put out so many flops it seemed he was booking for a place in the Ripley's books.

Anyway the Weinstein Brothers as well as a few other studio's are starting to make more faith based films and have even created an entire division of their mother studio's to put them out. Atleast a few of them have got to be regular tales of people who do not necessarily wear their jesus freak name tag on their sleeves but atleast they could possibly wander on a moral compass. I think it would be awesome to have a character that was both worldly enough to give a deserving villain a good butt whooping but still have the conscious not to go to far. Kind of like the Malcolm Reynolds character from Firefly. A bad man with a conscience.

Movies don't have to be religious or from a religious production company to be clean (without the in your face cursing, bare body parts or sexual senes) they can have the action & cleaness all at the same time and be very entertaining- take the following for example:

Sixth Sense
most all the Disney Films (amimated- or not)
Made in Heaven (an olde but a very good one- and they won't put this one on DVD - you can only purchase on VHS and it's not cheap- showing the value of it)!!
Persuit of Happyness (to name a recent one - and not only clean but showed how to pick up and go for it without complaining to everyone how you are owed or what horrible things are happening to you)
Lady in the Water (some nudity - but not in your face stuff)

These are just a few - action,romance - just about any catagory

I think society needs to re-think and change the 'Anything Goes' attitude - they also want the US to become like Germany - with all the laws they are passing - can't wear this - can't eat this - can't smoke - what happened to 'Can't Drink'?!! Oh yea - that is not as dagerous as smoking. And 'they' (the wana be Natzies) say they get these laws passed all in the name of protecting people - sick of 'them' getting in my business all the time - spend tax dollars where it really belongs - catching criminals - real bad guys - not the mother of 2 because she ate red meat (that will be next)

reminds me of the movie Patrick Swazye did about LA breaking off US and becoming a place all bad people (ones who won't follow the rules of US) go to survive. In the end of the movie the president says - US is a non-smoking - non-drinking - no eating red meat country and you'll have to go back to LA! LOL - wow I laughed so hard it's scary to think that may all actually come true.

Rant away. This has never been a 100% free country. Take for example, "Innocent Until Proven Guilty". Not only are you guilty without a doubt but you have to pay to get out of jail and when you win your case because you really weren't guilty you do not recieve the money you have spent pointing it out to the idiots in on justice system. Sad really. Anyway. This is Hollywood were talking about and like any large coorporate business its all about the cash flow. What you really should start thinking about is are there that many people out there in the world that really justify making films that epitomize the ugliness of humanity such as immature and offensive sexual plot ploys and idiolizing criminal behaviour by making unlawful scumbags heroes even if they do lose out in the end.

Yes I think we are badly in need of old romantic type of movies like "Come September" "Roman Hollyday" or comedy suspense Like "Pink Panther"
But who'll bell the cat?:confused:
Will the big shots in Hollywood listen to our feeble voices:rolleyes:
