Heck, I'll take a free car no matter what it has on it...I was actually going to post something a few weeks back inquiring about how we win a BMW (as the flyers that were handed out at the Napoleon Dynamite Screening said something about winning one), but I never got around to it. Is it like the TV, where we just keep posting on the board and cross our fingers? And how the heck do you guys get big ol' prizes like that? I think the BMW flyer even said you could win like $1000 or something.

This will actually be the 3rd Cleaning Out Our Closet (COOC) promotion. It started in 2001 on Flick Music. After Flick Music was bought out and turned into Shakefire.com, another COOC promotion took place in 2002. We took 2003 off to regroup and revamp everything (including the site) and we are now launching 2004 COOC. What we do is go around to all the major studios and record labels, etc and have them clean out their warehouse and put aside all of their prizing once a year for just us (we are selfish that way). In 2002 there were 7,000 winners and this year we are shooting for an internet record of 10,000 winners. This will be open to everyone that visits the site and we have yet to decide if it will be necessary to sign up for the boards first.
Not to worry boarders, we will be sure to pull aside some special prizing just for you. Unfortunately, we will not actually be fulfilling any of these prizes so we will not be able to see the car or bike or anything, but hopefully the winners will end up posting some pictures on the boards. we'll see. until then, stay tuned to this post for some more details coming soon....

Yeah, I don't know if I want to cover a box the big with stickers. If I had too I hope the winner would be willing to wait a year or so, that is probably how long it would take for me to sticker the box. I would love to win that bike. It sucks that I can't.

I love the BIKE... Winning it would be the only way I could get one.. The Hubby wont let me by one but there is nothing that he can say if I win it and only have to pay the taxes. I will be watching the boards intently for the information as to how to enter... Good luck all boarders... lets hope on of us win some of these since we are always on the site...

We ran out of flyers at the Napoleon screening because there were so many people there. But the flyer is just one of the ways were are letting people know about the contest, it does not help you win. We also announced it when we gave out our prize at the Napoleon screening and we put it on the message board, this way we can let lots of different people know.

Sorry, the flyers were just to let people know it was coming and to keep an eye out for it on the website. You could always wall paper you room or something with it. :D

if i win the car, i'll take 100 pics of it in poster-sized (12mp) and i'll give everyone that's posted on this thread so far a ride in it, along with putting a shakefire.com vinyl sticker on the back window of the car for the length of my ownership...and i'll come to all of the shakefire atlanta screenings with it so it can be like a promo car...it'll have a carputer with wireless internet, so people can see shakefire.com first hand....
so what do we do to win? random drawing? keep the big prizes open to shakefire.com board members!
