WB36 (http://wb36.trb.com/community/contests/) and Creative Loafing (http://www.cln.com/freeforall/atlanta.asp) are having a screening for this one. I think they put up the contest a few days ago.

I entered but since I already won last week I dont Im getting any cause their 30day waiting period rule  :(

onto the movie, too bad they made it a kiddy movie like Spy Kids.
Thunderbird is a classic and they should've made it for adults like the series :(

One of the worst movies I've seen so far this year. It was trite and almost unbearable. :(

Well, I can't get any from WB36 either. :( Maybe I'll get lucky with Creative Loafing.

That's disappointing to hear. Is it just bad for adults? Do you think kids will like it? I have a six year old who I was going to take.

I thought that you could pick up tickets at CLN on Friday during lunch. I think it mentions it on their website - so you wouldn't have to wait to hear if you won tickets. I've heard the screening is for Saturday - late morning. Might be wrong though.

Well, this is not the kind of movie you want to waste your chance on WB anyways. For kids aged 6 or under, maybe they will enjoy it. An adult sat next to me slept throughout half of the movie and I almost felt asleep too... Yes, it was that bad. The action sequence was sooo fake that I almost yelled at the screen.

Thanks for the warning. It sounds like I shouldn't even waste my time on this one.

Well, I decided to skip this one and not waste my time going to get passes today or at the movie itself. Thanks for all the feedback, it helped.

No problem, glad to help. :)
Usually, movie viewing is a very subjective thing. But most folks can agree on common junks.

Yeah, it's easy to tell when there's a general consensus. We ended up being out late last night so it felt really good to sleep in this morning. I definitely would not have been happy if we had gotten up early and gone (unknowingly) to a really bad movie. That's why I like being able to come here and get feedback from other movie goers. Helps you avoid those junkers.

Same here...especially since sometimes screenings there in ATL are before the ones here. Since COLIN's 'equipment' wont be seen here on Thursday (LOL), I will be checking out THE VILLAGE (even got a t-shirt when I picked up the pass). Yeah the original Thunderbirds show wasnt one of my favorites-so I wasnt interested in this one either. But again I do value your opinions and input and want to say THANKS for that......
