Hey, don't call me Redneck. ;) Ever since I watched live in 1996, I became a NASCAR fan. Well, I am not fanatic like some folks driving an expensive RV and following every races.
People think that it is stupid and cars are just going round and round. No, it is more than that. Along with the aerodynamics and other technological aspects, there are human dramas just like any sports - owner/team rivalries, car maker rivalries, even brother rivalries. I used to watch F1 races, but NASCAR is more fun to watch.
Of course, I like Jr., but he has so many fans, thus, I try to cheer for other drivers. I like Kasey Kahne and Jeff Burton. Oh, I hate Busch brothers (sorry if you are their fan). I used to be a big Jeremy Mayfield fan, I wish he could come back to top 10, but with Toyota I am skeptical. My hubby is Greg Biffle's fan for Ford, Kevin Harvick's for Chevrolet.
Anyway, let me know if you follow NASCAR and your favorite driver/team.
