I had a really weird dream last night and I think it has the makings of a possible movie. First I will tell you the actual dream: I was walking through an old building, much like a midieval church. This building had multiple towers (about five or so), unlike most church's which only have one. Each tower had stain glass windows telling the story about a group of people who were immortal. They spend their whole life gathering riches and dropping them into a body of water. These riches are a payoff to a God who grants them their immortality and lives at the bottom of this water.
Now I will tell you about the adaptation of the dream I have been thinking about: I am thinking that this would make a good fountain of youth story. Someone miraculously survives something that no one should and soon goes searching after answers only to realize that he had lost something in this body of water worth enough to spare his life. The churchlike building would be the final clue telling the story. I havent really figured out a main problem or controversy for the movie yet, but I am not going to worry about if you guys don't think it is worth it.

Sounds spooky.
I got the idea for my animation movie from a dream as well.

Wow Pat that is a good dream. The only memorable dream I ever had was when I was a kid. I was in a long white hallway with nothing but old men in white towels lined up on both sides of the hall going through double doors two at a time. When I looked at the double doors as they swung back behind it was what I can only descirbe as hell. It was a firey place. Of course a new dream started and I was swimming in a pool and a U.F.O. crashed into it and I found an alien that I wanted to keep as pet. Makes the relevancy of the first dream seem assenine.
I really like the way your dream sounds though. Maybe our protagonist can have dreams themselves where they are travelling at high speeds, almost blinding speeds, and they come to a dead stop at the doors of the church. They can do a POV shot with heavy labored breathing of a path from the doors to the water located in the church and a voice (from the thing in the water) that explains to them why their life was spared. Kind of like a " You came to me once and I have prolonged your death" but in a way that suggests that more homage is owed to keep death at bay. Maybe when they decide to investigate they have the same dream they have been having for years only this time when they reach the church doors the immortals are there, only in their true form, as decomposed skeleton like wraiths (think lord of the rings). Our hero realizes it as a warning. Eventually they realize that their time is growing shorter as their life threatening wounds begin to redevelop and they realize they must go to the church or parish. Being that the immortals have been alive forever they are powerful figures who have the ability to destroy our heroes life both physically and financially and pursue them in such a manner. Of course you can add tag alongs who serve a distinct purpose. Just a thought.
