Is there another screening besides Evergreen? I want to see Evergreen - you must have read last week's posting.
Thanks.

LOL...the sad thing is that if these two arent directly competiting with each other on the same nite here--they will with some other movie...Never fails...LOL

Found the link last night, but I just signed up for Cellular today. I'm glad that I didn't sign up for Evergreen. See, sometimes, it's good not to rush things. :p :D
By the way, when I submitted the Cellular request form, it said "Thank You for submitting your request for EVERGREEN!" Is this the usual error that we got concerning requests? Let me know if I need to submit the Cellular form again. Hey, regulars, what y'all typically do? I usually only request it once even with the title error after I submitted it. Anyone knows the answer?

That's what I normally do--unless the 'powers that be' come back and say submit a re-request.

the screening page for this movie did have an error on it but it has been corrected. If you submitted a request, you do not need to again. Thanks!

I got the same thing. I am not really all that interested in seeing Evergreen, so I didn't submit my name for a pass to that screening. But, I am looking forward to Cellular, mainly because I met the stuntman who doubles for Chris Evans in the film last summer (and also saw him jump a car.) Also, I really enjoyed David Ellis' work on Final Destination 2.
So, do I need to resubmit my request or not?

I just skimmed this topic and obviously missed SFpeter's post with the details regarding the error.
And since no one's posted the trailer, here it is:

lets hope this guy does good in this movie. He was great in Not Another Teen Movie, but he's casting as Johnny Storm was really surprising.
hope he does great here and gets us more excited for FF next year :D

From the looks of the trailer, it looks like it should be an exciting thriller. I went into Final Destination 2 not expecting a whole lot and really enjoyed it. And considering David Ellis' long career as a stuntman and second-unit director (see here (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0254786/)), this film's action sequences should be spectacular.
Chris Evans was alright in Not Another Teen Movie and I (like almost everyone else out there) didn't see him in The Perfect Score. With his recent casting in The Fantasic Four, obviously Fox had enough faith that he could pull the part off.
He's also co-starring in a film titled Fierce People with Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland. I read about it in EW's FALL MOVIE PREVIEW last night and it sounds quite interesting.
Hakeem
08-24-2004, 03:29 PM
yep. Fierce People looks good too.
and no, didnt see The Perfect Score though there's lots of young talent in there (Scarlett J, Erika C, Chris E and more :p)

Since I liked Phone Booth, this is similar take... Hopefully, it would be good too. The screenwriter is the same guy who wrote Phone Booth. I think this would be better because the main character would not be stuck in one place with him having a cell phone. There would be much more things to do and concepts to play with it. Who knows, next time he may come up with something like pager or PDA.
