Heeey Everyone ..
Justcame from seeing this movie ( The Cookout) in Atlanta ..
this was a good movie .. I really liked it .. I know .. I had to ignore shaun of the dead and ignore the cast and the director for a better laugh .. and I'm not sad that i missed it ..
Back to the movie, It was a nice easy going movie .. with a lot of humor ..
Sooo everyone ... Get your grills ready .. have the ham,chicken,fries .. don't forget the mack and cheese ...
and go have some Fun, Food, and Family ..
I would give the movie a (B)

Good to hear-the screening here was last nite but I found out too late to get a pass. So I will be checking it out this weekend.

I did feel the movie was short ..
they could have added few more gags .. or funny stuff ..
just took a sharp turn near the ending ..

I enjoyed Cookout also. And you where right it was a short movie.

OK I saw this Sat nite and the most noticeable thing is...this is a SHORT movie.

It was cute and funny --good for a DVD rental--not necessarily good enough to pay $8+ a head at theaters for. Actually my favorite thing was not the movie itself but seeing the trailer of DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN.

i agree with you .. i would see it on DVD and not pay the 8 $
