Just came from a free screening for cellular ..
I liked the movie ...
The story is good ... have you seen the trailer for it ..
It looks interesting .. and it was ...
A good thing about the movie was .. it was soooooooooo fast .. they did not waste anytime ..just went ahead from the first five minutes ... keeps you wondering .. and following the action ....
Ok here are some baad points about the movie .. I want you to tell me if i was wrong or not ... I felt that Kim Basinger forgot her ABC acting lessons ... she was sooo fake .. there was a moment in the movie she looked like a blond virsion of micheal jackson ... looool ... but the movie was good ... it was filled with action .. a lot of comedy .. and a good ending .. which some movies lack .. lately
I will give the movie a (B+)

I agree it was a great film, but i thought kim basinger did a great job. minus the part in the attic with the attack.

ending was great, but the best part was the double car jack :-p.

anyway ... really a movie everyone should watch. a good laugh/action.

I just found out about this site today, and I was really bummed out that I missed the screening for Cellular, it looks like a really great movie. Kind of like Phone Booth, which is REALLY good. There is still a 100% chance that I will see it in the theaters in 3 days, and I cannot wait!!!

you should go and watch the movie .. it was good ..
what i meant about kim .. there were some parts that she was trying too much for a pro like her ..she should went with the flow of the movie ...
but the whole movie was great ...

I thought the movie really went over and beyond what I believed would be a good, but not great end of summer movie. You never know where the story is going to take you next, constant action! No real down times, it kept me on the edge of my seat. There is no time to relax, get your ticket and popcorn (or sour candy if you like that) and hold on. Only downfall I found was the some of the car actions scenes, they are good just not very relistic. But who goes to the movies for a totally relistic expierence...

That's a very good point. How did his cell phone work after swimming?? I didn't even think about that. Nokia probably paid them off extra to make their phone look invincible.

This was my very first Shakefire screening. THANK YOU!!!!

I really liked the movie because cell phones have become such an intricate part of our lives all the scenarios that it was used in, in the film were true to life. Robbing the cell phone store for a charger, a bit extreme, but having to wait in a long a** line to get any service, I can definetely relate too.

Yeah I liked Phone Booth too, this is similar take... Surprisingly, this is even way way better and has a more solid script than expected. The screenwriter is the same guy who wrote Phone Booth. There are much more things to do and concepts to play with having cell phone as a main character. Who knows, next time he may come up with something like pager or PDA.
Thank God, I made it there at 6:05pm, it wasn't as crowded as I expected but the theater filled up quick which is the trend nowadays. Thanks for the pass, Shakefire. :D

I really want to know how much Nokia paid to advertise their cell phone.

I agree, but I thought Chris did a fabulous job! He carried that movie...I'm sorry Kim, your beautiful, but I feel like any female star could have played her part...she didn't make it her own.

I finally saw this one. Is Kim Basinger not THE MOST ANNOYING actress ever?? I kept hoping her character would get killed so I wouldn't have to listen to her whiny hysterical over-the-top voice anymore. This film made the LAPD look as bad as it did in the Darryl Gates era.
