ok, I did watch this when I was very little (and with my grandmother, not alone :p) but no way Im getting this. in fact, I havent see an episode in 15 years probably.

LOL...well I have raised Lifetime's ratings over the years with my viewership. It was funny but when I mentioned to my co-worker that this was coming out-she actually broke out with her calendar and marked down the date in big bright red. (I just wrote it on my dvd calendar...LOL)

Dont sleep on this show...trust....moms, grannies, aunts and girlfriends and even crazy men(LOL) will buy this....

Now I know what to get my old college roommate for Christmas, she literally watched this show every day. Up to 4 times a day. She even got Betty White's autograph. I love the show too, so I guess that was better than my Freshman roommate that watched Full House religiously, or my other roommate that watched "2 of a Kind"--there was only 1 season of that show!

See if I could WAIT until Christmas that would be on my list....but I AM WEAK...LOL...plus the last LORD OF THE RINGS extended version is supposed to be out on 12/14...so I am makin that the 'Christmas gift'.

I love Golden Girls. Have you noticed that Golden Girls is like Sex and the City, except old...and in Florida?

Dorothy(Bea Arthur) is like Carrie(Sarah Jessica Parker), the main character and the show usually takes her point of view.

Blanche(Rue McClanahan) is like Samantha(Kim Cattrall), both the slutty ones of the show.

Rose (Betty White) is like Charlotte (Kristin Davis), the innocent one of the group.

And I guess Sophia (Estelle Getty) is like Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), because... they give the words of wisdom to the others?

It's funny because in actuality, Betty White is the oldest, followed by Bea Arthur, then Estelle Getty (same year), and Rue is 11 years younger than Bea and Estelle. Bea and Estelle were the same age, but Estelle played her mother. Funny stuff. Too bad she's senile.
