I picked multiple teams because me and my spouse got each degrees from different universities. I hate certain teams because of their past games or their head coaches, and also rivalries make games even more fun!

It is possible to graduate from two or three places depending on your level of education. I already graduated from LSU, and I will graduate from Tech, so I pull for both.

Also, My dad graduated from Michigan, so when I was growing up, I rooted for Michigan... and watched all of the Michigan games, so I still root for Michigan if they are playing...

but when it comes down to the national championship... I want LSu to win!

I'm not sure what to think about this one. Two new quarterbacks playing in one of the biggest venues in the country spells trouble. Expect a lot of Choice. There won't be a lot of passing, so whichever secondary steps up and makes a play I think comes out a winner.

I hate to disagree with you but Taylor will pass, he has been there 2 years and has been in some big stadiums. I dont think this will bother him at all...

Take that Notre Dame!!! With 3 QBs the Irish made only 3!! Tashard Choice was good and the GT defense was amazing tonight. Wolf, you are right about Taylor Bennett. He did not dissapoint me. Looking forward to next Sat.

With the 33-3 Beating of Notre Dumb...we gave them their worse opening day lose in their long history, I also wanted to say Way to go App. state for beating Michigan and Remember this team Hawaii, yes I said Hawaii they are very good team this year they could go undefeated....Now back to Tech Look for us to go at least 5-0 we don't have anyone that can stop us in the next 4 games...I also think we can Take Virginia Tech as well they did impress me yesterday Neither did The U of M they struggled early. We should a Better year than last. Also did you guys see the Local boy run over that Notre dumb player for his first touchdown.....The only way it would have better is if we would have shut them out....Great defense--could be one of the best in the country....

And, personally, I don't think LSU will have any trouble winning against Va Tech... we watched the hokies game this weekend and they didn't seem that impressive to me... one of the announcers said "emotion doesn't win football games" and I agree... i think LSU is a better team overall...

And a funny note about the michigan game, my dad went to michigan but he was traveling all day yesterday so I called and left him a message that Michigan just lost to app state, and he called me back and said
"you must have gotten confused, are you sure it wasnt eastern michigan or michigan state?"

I told you it would be all Choice. Taylor looked awful. He overthrew James on a gimme touchdown and bounced three balls to runningbacks in the flat on screen passes. Most of our offense was with Choice behind center. That kind of formation worked nicely the first time out, but other coaches will scheme against it rather quickly. Nice game, but still a lot to work on.

I don't think you are showing Boston College the respect they deserve. If Notre Dame would have had any protection or a QB that could even get it close, the game would have been very different. Word-Daniels and Clark were beaten several times deep and only because of poor passes did it not hurt us. In contrast, BC's QB is probably the best in the ACC. You are right. Turnovers are deadly and Taylor didn't have any. But be honest, it's not that difficult to be turnover free when you are handing the ball to Choice's midsection two out of every three downs.

It was some kind of hot at Bobby Dodd on Saturday. Dwyer was impressive, especially the last touchdown run. Don't get too confident yet. A saturday night showdown on the flats against a top 20 team will show us what they are really capable of.

T.C. didnt have a good night either....and the calls in the game were so bad, it seems when we have a big we get the worse referee's they can find..Well we should bounce back against Virginia next week...I also think they let Dwyer play more.......

I was so happy when I "thought" GT had recovered a fumble in the 4th quarter. I wonder what I see on ESPN is the same camera view as the official "Play Under Reviewed" camera.

Been traveling all week but had to hop on and proclaim that I was right two weeks ago when I said that we would lose to BC. They have a good rush defense and the best QB in the league that time and time again burned our pathetic CBs. BTW, that wasn't a fumble in the 4th quarter. His knee was clearly down. Granted the refs didn't do us any favors on the Guyton pass interference or the Smith out of bounds call, we were still lucky the final score was as close as it was. They had over 500 yards total offense. Oh well, you still control your ACC fate. Expect about a two touchdown win against UVA and then about a ten point loss to Clemson.

I was there too, but Clemson fans (and Tech fans) around us behaved very well, but we had a problem with an UGA fanatic who was nasty and drunk. He grabbed a student's t-shirts and spit on the student. He was taken out at the end of 2nd quarter.

I also enjoyed the Gators vs. Auburn game. I got so mad when the Gators coach took a time out with 0.03 seconds remaining. Way to go Auburn!!

3 touchdowns against Samford, a game they won 69-14. but still 9 rushes and 138 yards is pretty good.

but on Saturday 4 rushes for 5 yards and 1.3 avg is BAD. Players will have bad games but that was abysmal. I still stand by what I said.

You even have to to look at his kick-off returns....he is second in the acc in that category and he is 6th in scoring in the acc...not bad for a freshman...and second in scoring average per game for td's,

What a great weekend for college football!

The Fighting Illini Beat Ohio State! That was an awesome game to watch, because I was rooting for Illinois, and they won.

I grew up watching Michigan games, so I have always been against Ohio State. But the problem is their confrence, they rarely get a chance to play good teams, such as the teams in the SEC.

So now, we have LSU ranked #1 in the Polls!
GO TIGERS!

And Oregon #2.

Let's hope it stays that way.

Spread is only 3 1/2. Little surprising because I'm not sure if Tech will score at all offensively. Don't expect UGA to put a bunch of points up either. Their 'vaunted' running game of Moreno will be shown the same treatment as Spiller and Davis were a couple weeks back.

Trust me, if he really wanted to do it, he would have been gone a long time ago. Out of all the names being thrown around, i like Sutcliffe, who is at Tennessee right now. We definitely need an Offensive minded coach, and he was the quarterback coach for both Mannings and Ainge.
