Anime is one thing but the soundtrack is another thing that gets my attention. Of course, I have no idea what they are saying but the music is good. So far I have three favorites. Cowboy Bepop is the best hands down. I love jazz and just adore this soundtrack. People I know who aren't into anime but like jazz love this soundtrack. My other two favorites are Samurai Champloo and Bleach.

So what's everybody's favorite anime soundtrack?

I really like the Saikano OST. The Azumanga Daioh OST always has a place in my heart. Finally, the .hack series has some pretty good OSTs.

heh. Absolutely nothing. High school life. It's one of my favorites though. Like probably number 2 on my list. I found it hilarious.

I'm not too big on anime but I do enjoy the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack. Don't know if that counts or not but it is a good listen.

Same...but I still favour the KH2 over it. Either way...the FFX soundtrack is mindblowing as well

i don't have any anime soundtracks nor have I really seen any anime really (well, before Pan forced all of us in the office to watch DBZ, FMA and a few others) but I love the music in most of them. Pan played Vegeta's theme for me and I thought it was really intense...

When I was taking classes, I found Anime music to be perfect to study to, since it's music with words, but you don't understand it. Well, until I started learning Japanese and started listening to see how much I could understand.

That's not bad idea, nuudles! but I think the lyrics are usually very cheesy. :) Trey Parker of South Park successfully created a Japanese song "Let's Fighting Love" for the episode "Good Times with Weapons". His Japanese is not bad all, and he knows what is funny. I laughed so hard.

I also don't have one favorite soundtrack either, but I like one certain artist - Hironobu Kageyama. Just hearing his voice, I know I am going to see an awesome program.

I think Hironobu Kageyama is the king of Japanimation soundtrack. He has sung theme songs not only for Dragon Ball series, but also Japanese Transformers, Power Rangers, Saint Saiya etc.
