Stephenie Meyer is releasing the third book in her series next week. My friends and I are in love with the series. She is also coming to Alpharetta in September. So, I thought I would share the info.

Book1: Twilight

Summary (from B&N):
About three things I was absolutely positive:
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him–and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be–that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

“I’D NEVER GIVEN MUCH THOUGHT TO HOW I WOULD DIE– I’d had reason enough in the last few months –but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. . . . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.”
When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret.
What Bella doesn’t realize is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And, it might be too late to turn back. . . .
Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.

Book Two: New Moon
Book Three: Eclipse (will be released Tuesday, August 7, 2007)

Sounds interesting but I just have one question. Is this book going to be like a love novel ala Anne Rice. A friend of mine insisted I read The Mummy or Rameses the Damned by Anne Rice. The book stated off good but once Mummy boy came to life it was all this unendurable love story nonesense. I read the book to the end but the love story was just to dumb to keep me interested.

Never read Anne Rice. So, no clue. But it is primarily a story about a relationship. It is also teen fiction... Probably go ahead and consider it love story nonsense.

I am finished too. I totally agree that it was awesome. I am so ready for the next book. Breaking Dawn is suppose to come out in Fall of 2008, but I don't know if I can wait that long. She has a new book (non-vampire related) called The Host coming out in Spring 2008

We have to get together this weekend and talk about this book!
