Entry Deadline: March 3, 2009 Ace of Spades: Two CD set. Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the UK hard rockers' 1980 album. Ace Of Spades became an instant classic, ably reinforced with a fully loaded bullet belt of charged and volatile rockin' slugs in the shape of tracks like 'Love Me Like A Reptile', 'Shoot You In The Back', 'Live To Win' and 'The Hammer', all of which helped this album to gold status. The second disc features single b-sides, alternative versions, outtakes, rarities, BBC Session and In-Concert material as well as live tracks. Sanctuary. Overkill: Now remastered with added gut-wrenching bass, this debut album from Motorhead was cut in 1977 over a few speed-driven days at Escape Studio, and it shows. From the opening bass roar of the eponymous title track it is non-stop, relentless, churning, brain damaging, heavy rock'n'roll. This is no ponderous heavy metal band fronted by some poodle-headed castrato - no, this is the real deal, down dirty and greasy and with its boots firmly rooted in rock 'n' roll. Iron Fist: Digitally remastered and expanded deluxe two CD edition of this 1982 album featuring a bonus disc of B-sides, alternate versions, outtakes and more. Disc One features the Iron Fist album, which contains a barrage of Motorclassics with production overseen by guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke and Will Reid Dick. Unfortunately the album also saw the classic Motorhead line-up of 'Fast' Eddie (guitars), Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister (bass/vocals) and Phil (Philthy Animal) Taylor (drums) splintering soon after. Iron Fist, nevertheless, is a twelve-fingered mutation of an album with a clutch of gem-studded tracks like 'Heart Of Stone', 'Go To Hell', 'Loser', and of course the title track, all reaching out to squeeze the living breath from all those who dare to hop aboard the Motorhead express.
