Although there are signature goth metal features such as heavy guitar riffs, hyper-intense drums, death grunts and dark lyrics, Leaves’ Eyes are more than a goth metal genre band.

On first listening to Light Me Up by Gene the Werewolf I didn’t like what I was hearing. This guy, though has a unique name that’s a little catchy, his songs are not.
