Sometimes it’s tough to listen to a set of songs and with Consciousness by Smile Empty Soul I found this one of those times.

Almost all songs have a place that they fit into and when I heard the first song Valentine it’s easily heard that this could be a song on numerous commercials and movies.

Here is a band that after searching around the internet I still have no idea who the band is or exactly what style of music they are playing. This unknown band is Brim Liski.

This EP by San Francisco based trio The Greening completely caught me off guard. Since it contains only four tracks, I did not expect too much variety.
