Tamar Kaprelian was born in Scottsdale, Arizona an brought up in both Georgia and California by Armenian parents, surrounded by love and great music.  Tamar has been writing songs as long as she can remember, influenced as a kid by classic Disney films, but her true love of music came about when she discovered Billy Joel and Paul McCartney...and in love she fell.  Tamar Kaprelian will be releasing her first album on Interscope Records in 2010 and you can expect to hear thought-provoking, hopeful, playful, and honest songs.

1. What accent do you love the most?
Have to go with the British accent for this one.
 
2. Comfort or Style?
Combination of both. I'm a fan of wearing a simple black t-shirt and black leggings then dressing it up with a pair of Chanel boots. Very big into accessories as well. Love unusual jewelry.
 
3. I am eager to:
Get out on the road and start touring with this record. People really understand what i'm about after they see me play live. There is nothing more amazing then playing for a room packed with people who have never heard your work before. The goal is to make a personal connection with as many of those people as you can.
 
4. Do you have any nicknames
i do! 'T,' 'TK,' 'T-mar,' 'Sam' (my mom calls me this.. and i respond everytime!), 'Princess' (personal favorite, haha).
 
5. Do you believe in love at first sight?
I feel like 'love at first sight' is more infatuation than anything else. i think true love is completely unpredictable. speaking from experience, the best kind of love is when you fall into it, when you least expect to.

end of the tube! i'm a little OCD about that.

done drugs. proud to say... the only thing i have ever smoked is a cigar AND i'm a huge fan of those.

everything and anything that has to do with Billy Joel's songwriting and music.  
 
10. Do you have a title or know how many tracks will be on your debut album coming out this year?
the record will probably have about 8 songs. still undecided on the title..
