Blu-Ray Bay

You Are (Not) Alone is the first of four films in the Rebuild of Evangelion series, which is based off the original Neo Genesis Evangelion manga/anime. It tells the story of Shinji Ikari and his involvement with protecting NERV headquarters from various Angels who come to rescue their fallen comrade. Doing so requires the use of enormous mech-like machines called Evangelion Units, or Eva for short.

QUALITY:
This is one of the best looking animes I've seen to date. The film combines both traditional anime drawing techniques with modern CGI to create something absolutely beautiful. Lines are crisp and characters are defined well. Specifically, the different Angels look great and the battles between them and the Evas are massive.

BONUS FEATURES:
News Flashes, Rebuild of Evangelion, "Angel of Doom" Music Video, and Trailers.

The bonus features are alright. The "Angel of Doom" music video is probably the most interesting of the bunch. Fans of the series will most likely get a kick out of the Rebuild of Evangelion feature though. Still, if you're an anime fan, then this is one must have Blu-ray.
