'Poltergeist' Partners with 'My Idol' to Makes Clowns Even Creepier

Clowns are creepy. That's always been a given. Even if the Freeling's house wasn't haunted in the original Poltergeist, Robbie still would have been deadly afraid of that creepy clown doll. It's no surprise, then, that a clown doll takes center stage in the Poltergeist remake due for release in a couple of weeks on May 22.

If the clown doll itself wasn't creepy enough, 20th Century Fox have taken things to the next level by creating a "My Idol" clown Avatar that floats down on a balloon and sings happy birthday in Chinese. If you weren't afraid of clowns before, you definitely will be after watching the short clip.
