First, Jericho aired season one on CBS to dismal numbers but huge fan appreciation. Then, it was canceled. Then, fans sent peanuts in droves to CBS to keep it on the air. Then, CBS decided to give it another shot and they uncanceled it. Then, it re-premiered and the fans still didn't come to watch it so, again, it was canceled after a half of a season. Now, it runs (reruns) in syndication on CBS's sister station The CW where the ratings trump those of it's original run. So, what to do now? Apparently, according to Director/Producer Jon Turteltaub, he is developing a theatrical movie: "It's fun to see the show won't die. We're developing a feature for Jericho. It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it gets into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full on American version of what's going on beyond the town in Jericho." Turteltaub confirmed that the entire TV cast will be back for the movie (no surprise since Skeet Ulrich's career isn't exactly heating up the box office charts these days). Title: Jericho Genre: Action/Adventure Starring: Skeet Ulrich Director: Jon Turteltaub Studio: Paramount |

Jericho Movie
Thanks Peter for posting about the Jericho movie. I think Jericho will make a wonderful movie. I'm glad the producers will be able to tell the larger story they had envisioned. Gwen
Jericho
I loved the tv series. I wish they would bring it back and let it air during the summer.
