Summit Entertainment will re-release "Twilight" to theaters on Nov. 19 for a single night, before it launches "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" the next day. Summit, which made the announcement Thursday, said it had decided to re-release "Twilight" in response to fan requests, even though it's already available on DVD. The minimajor also said some theaters will offer discounted admission prices. "Twilight" grossed over $380 million in worldwide box office following its release last November. "New Moon" is directed by Chris Weitz and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. "Eclipse," the third pic in the franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampire books, will be released on June 30. |
