Burn Notice: Season Two (BLU-RAY)

Burn Notice

Season:
2
Network(s):
On Blu-Ray:
Tuesday, June 16, 2009
Grade:
B-
NOT SO WARM

The show was originally set in Newark, New Jersey.

When this show first came about, I didn't really have a whole lot of interest as I was, myself, typecasting Jeffrey Donovan as the asshole he played in 'Hitch' opposite Will Smith.  After Pandora caught the first season for review, she turned me on to the show and I am grateful for it.

QUALITY:
Decent.  Parts of the show get a little sketchy and grainy, especially during the cuts and interludes.

BONUS FEATURES:
Gag Reel, commentaries, deleted scenes, featurette.

The The bonus features are vaguely amusing while disappointing at the same time (if only because you learn that the creations in the show are mostly fake).  The second season really brings the show into it's own as you learn more about who burned Michael Westen and he chips away ever closer to getting out of it.  The quality is a bit disappointing as it looks about the same as it appeared on the USA Network in HD.
