Rock Out!

Dolph Lundgren is a drummer in real life.

When the American pop sensation Venus and  the Russian President Petrov are taken hostage by a group of extremists during a charity concert, it's up to the rock drummer simply known as Joe to save the day. Yeah, the film is just about as outrageous as it sounds...

QUALITY:
If I wanted to watch the DVD, then I'll watch the DVD. The colors are dull and grainy and the special effects look like something from an amateur film. The only decent picture came from the small scenes involving Venus on stage.

BONUS FEATURES:
Standard definition trailers of a few other films from First Look.

I can't say I was disappointed with Command Performance as I didn't have high expectations to begin with. There's really no reason to own the Blu-ray over the DVD in the first place. If you're in the mood for over the top action flicks that feature a crazy drummer who uses an drumstick as a knife, then yeah, you might want to check it out. If not, then it's no real loss.
