1,039/ Smoothed Out Slappy Hours

(Green Day)
Release Date:
Tuesday, January 27, 2004

It’s here, I’m excited, you should be too. All Green Day fans rejoice. “1,039/ Smoothed Out Slappy Hours” has been re-released. All old Green Day fans know the album; but for you newer fans I’ll clue you in. This is a compulation of their first album and EP’s. The once muffled and garage sounding album has been remastered to bring you a clearer garage sounding album. It is awesome.

Not only is it remastered the c.d. is enhanced too. You can see old flyers, handwritten lyrics, and old photos of the band. Still need more? How about an acustic performance on the radio, and video of four songs performed live at small clubs. This is a must have. Old fans will love seeing things they remember or wished they could have seen. Never fans this will give you insight on where the band came from and the “Dookie” was not their first album. Show your support pick up this album and who knows maybe there will be a release of “Kerplunk”.
