Cursed

I had a chance to listen to a few tracks on the “Cursed” album by Jowls.  Ruins and Shamewalker are the song titles.  My first impression was, “What?”  After a few Google searches, I come to find that this music genre is called Instrumental Rock.  Well, I can’t imagine listening to this on the elevator going to my doctor’s office.  One of the first things you here on the Ruins track are screams (even though it’s supposed to be an instrumental).   It’s not good to the ears at all.

Now, I’ve been taught that you should try to pull the positive out of any situation.  In this case, this music would be great for the movies.  Maybe as the soundtrack or background music to scenes appropriate to the situation, i.e. horror or to portray chaos.  One thing I do know though, this Universe is big enough for everyone.
