A+
Running Time:
1 Hour, 50 Minutes

Much like Cars, the quality of Ratatouille is to be extremely high.  The movie is one of the most off-kilter Pixar movie yet and certainly the least commercially viable film of their since A Bug’s Life.

QUALITY:
Outstanding.  I can’t compare this one to Cars as they are both pretty much on par with each other.  The sound, the picture, the feeling.  Everything is here to make this an amazing Blu-Ray release.

BONUS FEATURES:
An exclusive behind-the-scenes look and a set-top game are exclusive to this release as well as a few deleted scenes.  Others (also included on the standard DVD) include deleted scenes, featurettes, the hilarious “Lifted” animated short and the all-exclusive short “Your Friend the Rat.”

OVERALL:
Again, not the most commercially acceptable movie from Pixar but branching off is perhaps the best thing Pixar could have done.  While not swaying as far as Disney did for “Valiant,” the foreign themes Ratatouille is fun, engrossing and altogether entertaining.  As for the Blu-Ray?  Well, it makes it all that much better.  This may just become the DVD I use to compare other releases to in quality.
