Snakes On a Plane

Snakes On a Plane

On DVD:
Tuesday, January 2, 2007
Running Time:
106 Minutes

I reviewed this when it came out in theaters. I did watch it again and still found it to be funny; but I’m not sure I would watch it a third time. As for the bonus features I think they did a pretty good job.

There is a Gag Reel that has a bunch of flubbed lines, things being dropped, and some goofy around on set. There are the standards with 10 deleted/extended scenes, commentary by director Samuel L. Jackson, the producer, and VFX supervisor, the TV spots, and the trailers. Looking for featurettes well this release has those too. There is “Pure Venom” which is a making of, “Meet The Reptiles” which talks to the snake handlers, and “VFX” that takes a look at the visuals. Included too is the music video “Snakes On A Plane” by Cobra Starship and a making of the video. But the true bonus feature on this release is “Snakes On A Blog” which takes a look at the online craze that was behind the movie before it was ever released.
