Soul Men

Soul Men received a lot of attention because of the close-proximity deaths of star Bernie Mac and cameo player Isaac Hayes.  Otherwise, this movie would have likely slipped into oblivion like the majority of Samuel L. Jackson movies.

QUALITY:
Good.  The picture is crisp but the sound gets a little bit low at times.

BONUS FEATURES:
Commentary, trailer, featurettes, tributes

No deleted scenes or outtakes are a mistake as the majority of the bonus features are a little weak.  The tribute to Isaac Hayes is particularly weak but the tribute to Bernie Mac is decent.  You may find yourself laughing harder at "Bernie Mac at the Apollo" than the actual movie but, all in all, this is a farely decent release.
