Oh and…Why?

WHY.

Why does an album like this exist? This excuse for music is awful. Simply awful. Based on the first few tracks, I don’t even know if Tomeka can carry a tune, let alone write a song. The pacing of the lyrics are completely off, throughout the CD, even by the somewhat looser standards of hip-hop and/or R&B.

Beyond that, the mix and production on this are atrocious. The instruments sound like canned imitations of the real thing. Perhaps they were taken from some computer program? I have no idea. But they sound as fake as T-Pain’s voice fed through the fabled auto-tune.

Avoid this like the plague. Seriously, it hurt my ears to listen to this whole thing. Might need to get a vaccine for aural halitosis or something after that experience. There's no reason why you should subject yourself or anyone near you to this.
