Toy Story 1 & 2 Double Feature

Toy Story 1 & 2

In Theatres:
Oct 02, 2009
Running Time:
173 minutes

The original Toy Story was released in 1995, with the sequel released in 1999. It’s now been ten years since we’ve seen Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang. With Toy Story 3 scheduled for 2010, it’s the perfect time for a double feature of the originals and in 3D no less.

There’s no doubt about it that both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are amazing films. Pixar sure does know how to make an animated film and even by today’s standards, the originals still look fantastic. Watching them in Disney Digital 3D showcases the films in a new light. This isn’t your usual 3D either.

Usually films use 3D as a simple feature that doesn’t really add to experience with a few eye grabbing scenes. Toy Story is different. The entire film has all the characters utilize 3D. It makes you look at everything as new. It truly is beautiful.

Since this is a double feature of Toy Story 1 and 2, there is a brief intermission between the two. Being the amazing animators they are, Pixar has decided to fill this gap with deleted scenes and trivia, all the while hearing the humor of Hamm, Mr. Potato Head, and others.

Toy Story’s double feature is a treat from start to finish; you won’t want to miss one second of it. Adults will remember the nostalgic memories of seeing it in theaters while kids can experience the classic for the first time. This is definitely something you do not want to miss in its two week run.
