In the wake of the success of the Elvis vs. JXL remix comes the release of Verve Remixed, a stylish and trendy compilation of cuts by Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and more remixed by some of today's top DJs, including Thievery Corporation and Tricky. This CD is not to go un-noticed and must be played at high volume levels to appreciate fully. These cuts are solely for fans of house music. Fans of the originals may go as far as to actually be offended by the new offering, so it is recommended they check out the companion CD of originals, Verve Unmixed.
