Trinity, South Carolina may appear to be a nice little Southern town at first glance; but stay awhile and you will see a whole other side...

RATING: 0.85 (out of 4.00)

Sheriff Lucas Buck seems to have a hold on the residences of Trinity and some how if you cross him odd accidents seem to follow. Caleb is orphaned after his father commits suicide and his sister is killed causing his cousin Gail that he has never met to return to Trinity and help him uncover their families tainted past. But Lucas has other plans for Caleb and will not let Gail or the local doctor Matt get in his way. As the evil plans and hidden pasts unfold you will not be able to stop watching.

I really got addicted to this series and found that the storyline of good verses evil wasn’t pushing religion as much as many of them do. But this release is just too flawed to get a good grade. First I never watched the series on TV so when I started watching the DVD’s I found myself growing slightly confused towards the end. People that should no longer be in the story were making appearances and it seemed that the final battle was thrown in at the middle. I did a little searching to find out if this is how the series was and uncovered that the episodes are out of order. The final battle was to be at the end. This really upset me and now I feel to understand some of the story I should go back and watch it again. Which I would if it didn’t freeze and skip around almost every episode. The first time it happened I took the DVD out to make sure I hadn’t smudged it (double-sided); but there was nothing. However once I got to the 3rd discs 6th side I knew this was a flaw in the printing. Knowing that somehow I could have gotten a bad copy I started looking around again and found out that NUMEROUS people have had this problem too. It was so bad that I missed sometimes up to 10 minutes in an episode. I know that fans out there will be pleased to finally see that this is released on DVD; but I will have to encourage you not to spend your $50 on it. You will be saving yourself a ton of heartbreak and frustration.
