An unbelievable & heartfelt story of a young girl, who becomes a woman during a summer trip to stay with her father in North Carolina.  This is the story of Ronnie, a rebellious girl who is about to embark on a wild summer that she was not expecting in a small coastal North Carolina Town.  Ronnie’s parents are divorced and she and her brother live in New York City with their mother.  It has been 3 years since her father left the family and she has not seen nor spoke to him since not even wanting to spend the summer with him.

When they arrive in North Carolina Ronnie falls in with the wrong crowd and starts to get into trouble, she also meets an amazing guy Will.   Ronnie is dealing with the fact that her first friend Blaze is not talking to her because of Marcus, a man who likes Ronnie but who is also dating Blaze.  Feeling like she doesn’t fit in she begi
ns to slowly open up to her father and begins to find out who she is while learning who he is.
After a serious issue comes up she begins to hang out with Will more and begins to fall in love, something she never thought would happen.  But who is Will, he is a local from the sleepy little town, who works for his father and plays beach volleyball.  When Ronnie starts dating Will, Marcus decides he is going to do something about it and he has just the right buttons to push.

Life is falling into place, she doesn’t understand why, she is happy with Will, she loves her Father and Brother and she is starting to make plans for the future.  Why does it feel so wrong?  The answers will come to her soon enough as she has something so terrible that she is going to have to face.  A beautiful story filled with emotion, which will touch you to the core and make you look at life differently.  This is a must read for anyone who loves to read and anyone that has a heart.
